Installation and Usage

What to do if you see a memory card error?

1. Make sure you're using a Class 10 MicroSD card with amaximum capacity of 64GB. Cards with 128GB, or 256GB are not supported.
2. Go to the camera's system settings and format the card directly in the device.
3. If the dash cam doesn't detect the card, hold the power button to turn it off, then power it back on and try again.
4. You can also format the card on a computer using the FAT32 file system (64KB allocation size), then try again.
5. If errors keep appearing, the card may be faulty. Tip: Avoid buying memory cards from unauthorized third-party sellers.
6. To maintain optimal performance, please format the memory card at least once a month.
7. Memory cards have a limited lifespan. Prolonged use may lead to data not being saved properly. We recommend replacing the card after one year of continuous use.

Why Won’t the Dash Cam Power On?

Step 1: Check if the device is damaged.
1. Connect the dash cam to a phone charger with at least 5V/2A output. See if the camera powers on normally.
2. If it doesn't turn on, insert a pin into the reset hole for more than 3 seconds, then press the power button.
3. If the camera turns on, the device is not damaged. Please reinsert and format the memory card, then check if it records properly.
4. If the dash cam still won't turn on, the unit may be faulty. Please contact us for a replacement.

Step 2: Test the car charger.
1. Plug the car charger into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket, then connect it to the dash cam.
2. If the dash cam powers on and records normally, the device is working fine.
3. If it fails to power on or keeps turning on and off, the carcharger may be defective. Please contact us for areplacement.
4. For safety and performance, do not use third-party car chargers to power the dash cam.

Can I connect the dash cam to my MacBook?

This camera does not support video file access when connected directly to a Mac. If you're using a Mac, please remove the memory card and use a card reader to view the footage.
Note: When connected to a Mac's Thunderbolt port, the camera will not power on, although the charging indicator will light up. When connected to a USB port, the camera will power on and display "Mass Storage," but the Mac will not be able to read the internal files.

Will the dash cam continue to operate after the engine is turned off?

It depends on your vehicle’s power settings. Some cars keep supplying power after the engine is off, while most cut off power completely.
If your car's cigarette lighter still provides power after shutdown, please manually turn off the dash cam—either by unplugging the power cable or pressing and holding the power button. Otherwise, the dash cam may continue drawing power and drain your car battery, potentially preventing the next engine start.

Can I disable audio recording?

Yes.
Method 1: While on standby or recording, press the Down button to toggle audio recording off. A muted microphone icon will appear on the screen.
Method 2: Press the MENU button twice to enter system settings, then set Record Audio to OFF.

Can I view files on the dash cam?

Yes. Enter playback mode to view recorded files. If a file is protected, a lock icon will appear on it.

What should I do if the suction mount falls off or feels loose?

Make sure you remove the protective film from the suction cup and thoroughly clean your windshield before mounting. Once the suction cup is in place, press it firmly and flip the locking lever upward to secure the mount.

Why won't the dash cam power on?

2. Upon receiving the dash cam, please connect it to power immediately and fully charge it before use.
3. If the battery is charged and the power adapter is working correctly, try restoring the dash cam to factory settings:
(1) Remove the memory card.
(2) Use a pin to press and hold the reset button on the dash cam for 5 seconds.
(3) Then, press and hold the power button until the device turns on.This will reset the dash cam and should return it to normal operation. After powering on, reinsert the memory card and go to the settings menu to format it. Why can't I access the settings menu (Menu button not responding)?

After powering on, the dash cam automatically enters video mode and starts recording if an SD card is inserted. To access the menu, press the “OK” button to pause recording first, then press the Menu button.

Why does the screen turn blue and show “Mass Storage”?

When connected to a computer or a low-voltage power source, the dash cam enters mass storage mode. To use the camera with standard power, connect it using the included car charger.

Why doesn't the camera record after powering on?

Ensure the memory card is correctly inserted.
(1)Disconnect the power, remove and reinsert the memory card.
(2)Format the memory card in the camera.

Why does the screen turn off automatically?

The screen saver feature may be enabled. When active, the screen turns off after a set time, but recording continues in the background. Press any button to wake the screen.

Why is there no sound in my video?

Check if the audio recording function is enabled. A white microphone icon on the screen indicates audio is on; a muted icon means it is off. Press the Down button in video mode to toggle audio recording.

Does the dash cam need to stay plugged in to record?

Yes. The dash cam must remain connected to a power source for continuous recording. The built-in battery only provides a few minutes of backup power and is not intended for recording.
Tip: The internal battery is designed to preserve your settings, not to power video recording.

How can I correct the recording time?

Please follow the instructions in the user manual to set the correct date and time.
Note: Video and photo modes have separate time settings and must be configured individually.

Why can't I access stored files or detect the device on my computer?

1. Reinsert the USB cable and ensure a stable connection.
2. Try a different USB cable to rule out cable issues.
3. Connect the dash cam to a different computer—some systems may block external devices.
4. For best results, remove the memory card and use a card reader to access files on your computer.

Why won’t my dash cam save the date, time, or other settings the first time I use it?

After long storage periods, the built-in battery may be depleted, preventing settings from being saved. To fix this, connect the dash cam to a phone charger or computer, power it off by holding the power button, and charge it for several hours. Once fully charged, it will retain your settings.

Why does my dash cam keep rebooting or fail to start?

1. Make sure you're using the original charger and cable included in the package.
2. Remove the memory card, cables, and car charger, then reinstall them to check for any loose connections.
3. Use the reset button (R) near the TF card slot to restart the device.
4. If the problem persists, try connecting the dash cam to a 5V/2A power adapter using a Type-C cable.
5. If the dash cam turns on, the issue might be with the car charger or cable.
6. If it still won’t turn on, the dash cam itself might be faulty. For accessory or device issues, contact our support team—we’ll help resolve it within 24 hours.

Why isn’t the Video as clear as promoted?

At high speeds, on rough roads, or in rainy/foggy conditions, footage might look slightly less sharp compared to stationary recordings. It’s like filming with your phone while walking versus standing still – the result varies. This is normal and doesn’t mean the dash cam is defective.

Why does my dash cam feel hot to the touch?

The dash cam is built to run non-stop, which means parts like its CPU, RAM, COMS, camera sensor, and display naturally generate heat. During summer or when the temperature climbs above 22°C (72°F), the body may reach 50–60°C(122–140°F). No worries – this is completely normal and safe, as the device is designed to handle up to 70°C (158°F).
TIPS: Lower temperatures help extend the lifespan of electronic devices. We recommend enabling the "Screensaver" function so the screen turns off automatically. This reduces heat buildup and minimizes distractions while driving.

Car Battery Drained?

Some users may experience a drained car battery or low-voltage warning after installing the dash cam. This typically happens when the car does not fully cut off power after being turned off, causing the dash cam to keep running overnight.
Note: Over 95% of vehicles automatically shut off power when the engine is turned off. However, some rare models—or vehicles that have been modified—may not fully cut power due to manufacturer design or custom wiring.
·How to Fix This Issue?
Manually unplug the dash cam charger from the cigarette lighter after turning off your car. Use a Type-C hardwire kit for power management. (Contact our support team if you need one.) Consult your vehicle manufacturer or a professional technician to configure your car to fully cut off power after shutdown.

Can’t Find Videos?

Your dash cam features loop recording—when the SD card nears full capacity, it automatically deletes the oldest files to make space for new recordings. (except for locked videos)
• How to Prevent Video Loss?
If an event occurs, manually lock the video by pressing the Lock button to prevent it from being overwritten. If the G-sensor detects an impact, the dash cam automatically locks the video.
• Where to Find Locked Videos?
Locked videos (triggered manually or by the G-sensor) are stored in the DCIM folder with filenames beginning with LOCA.

How to Use Parking Mode

To use the 24-hour parking monitoring feature on your dashcam, you need a Type-C hardwire kit (not included in the package).
